books4kids2keep is made possible by the generosity of our partners:
- Columbus Rotary, which provides the administrative funding and volunteer base for the program
- Half Price Books, which has donated nearly one million books to the students of Columbus City Schools since the inception of the program
- Coca-Cola Enterprises, which donates labor and transportation costs associated with book acquisition for distribution
- The Columbus City Schools, which provides logistical support, as well as highly-committed Librarians, Library Media Specialists and Teachers. All of our school partners support the program "in their spare time", as a voluntary job duty.
- The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, which provides a home for books that, for a variety of reasons, cannot be absorbed by books4kids2keep and its partners. Those books find yet another life in the libraries of state correctional facilities throughout Ohio.
- Reach Out and Read, a program of Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, has been the generous donor of books for middle school and high school students since 2009 -- a group of students we would be otherwise unable to serve.
books4kids2keep is also indebted to our early partners, White Castle Systems and Buckeye Printing. Both organizations went the extra mile to ensure the ongoing viability of the program, and for that we will be forever grateful.
